National Research Initiative - Microbial Biology (B): Microbial Associations with Plants
The Microbial Associations with Plants program enhances protection and safety of the nation's agriculture and food supply. It reduces the incidence of foodborne illness and contaminants through science-based knowledge and education, and develops and delivers science-based information and technologies to reduce the number and severity of agricultural pest and disease outbreaks. Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the entire Program Description section for current priorities and additional information relative to the program of interest.
