Small Business Innovation Research: Forests and Related Resources
This is one of 12 topic areas in the USDA SBIR program. Research focuses on the development of environmentally sound techniques to increase utilization of materials and resources from forestlands; increases productivity of forestlands; improve tree pathogen and insect control techniques; reduce ecological damage from forest operations; reduce wildfire risk; improve wildfire control, and; increase the utilization of wood.

Small businesses and small proprietorships that are in business for profit are eligible to submit applications to this program.
